Richard A. Cook

Richard A. Cook is a seasoned trial attorney, civil rights advocate, and debut author of the near-future techno-thriller The Entity. He brings decades of experience litigating high-stakes personal injury cases, medical malpractice claims, and civil rights actions against the government. Early in his career, he prosecuted major crimes as a state and federal prosecutor, including capital offenses and death penalty cases. He has also successfully defended high-profile criminal cases involving murder, public officials, and corporate officers. Cook channels this real-world intensity and legal insight directly into his fiction.

An associate member of International Thriller Writers, Cook blends legal authenticity with cutting-edge science to explore the collision of technology, morality, and faith. He lives in Indiana. The Entity is his first novel.
